ONLINE SAFETY INSTITUTE
The Online Safety Institute was established in December 2006 with objective to create a documentary unit and coordination centre of the safer internet studies. Institute supports of the Saferinternet.cz project and its international activities, firstly the cooperation with the Safer Internet programme of the European Commission.
Important goal of the Institute is to increase awareness of the advantages but also threats of the online communication, contribute to internet literacy, shaping and implementation of ethical norms and codes of conduct on the Internet.
Institute is carrying out projects contributing to increase of the online safety and support of the cooperation of law enforcement agencies, public administration, industry, educational institutions and NGOs in the field.
